2. General information on data processing
We generally only process personal data of our users to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services. Processing regularly takes place only after user consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, for contract performance pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, or on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
3. Hosting and server log files
When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits (including IP address, date and time of the request, browser type, operating system used, referrer URL). This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals and is used solely to ensure trouble-free operation and to improve our offering (legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
4. Cookies
This website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We distinguish between:
- Strictly necessary cookies: These are required for the operation of the website (e.g. storing the language preference) and cannot be disabled. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
- Optional cookies: Only set with your consent (e.g. for statistics or marketing purposes), if used on this website. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Consent given can be withdrawn at any time with future effect.
You can adjust your cookie settings at any time via the cookie banner at the bottom of the screen, or manage/delete cookies via your browser settings.
5. Contact form and email contact
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, the data you provide (including name, email address, WhatsApp contact if applicable, message content) is stored by us for the purpose of processing your request and for any follow-up questions. Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) or to initiate a contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). We do not share this data without your consent, except with the partner school of your choice in order to process your enrolment.
6. Disclosure to partner schools in the Philippines
To process your enrolment, we share the personal data required for registration (including name, contact details, travel dates) with the partner school of your choice in the Philippines. As the Philippines is a country outside the EU/EEA, this may constitute a data transfer to a third country without an EU adequacy decision. In this case, the transfer is based on your explicit consent and on the necessity to perform the agency agreement with you (Art. 49 (1) (a) or (b) GDPR).
7. Storage period
We store personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our agency services, to comply with statutory retention obligations (in particular tax and commercial law requirements), or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
- Right to withdraw consent given, with future effect (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
To exercise your rights, an informal message to pacificlearnbridge@gmail.com is sufficient.
9. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding the processing of your personal data, in Austria in particular with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (www.dsb.gv.at).
