1. Scope and contracting parties

These Terms and Conditions apply to all agency services provided by Pacific Learn Bridge (owner: Bahar Koblbauer, Am Wagnerberg 4a, 4052 Ansfelden, Austria, hereinafter "Pacific Learn Bridge" or "we") to customers (hereinafter "student" or "customer") who book language courses at our partner schools in the Philippines through our website or by other means.

2. Role of Pacific Learn Bridge as intermediary

Pacific Learn Bridge acts as an intermediary between students and the partner schools listed on the website (e.g. Cebu International Academy, CG Academy Sparta, CG Academy Banilad, Boracay Coco English School). The actual course and accommodation contract is concluded between the student and the respective partner school on site.

The partner school is solely responsible for delivering the language course, the quality of teaching, accommodation and meals, and compliance with its own regulations. Pacific Learn Bridge is responsible for organisation, advice, booking processing and forwarding of payments.

3. Formation of the agency agreement

The agency agreement between the student and Pacific Learn Bridge is concluded once the student submits a booking request (by email, contact form or in writing) and Pacific Learn Bridge confirms it in writing (e.g. by email). Information on the website, in particular prices and the price calculator, are non-binding estimates unless expressly marked as a binding offer.

4. Prices and payment terms

Unless otherwise stated, prices shown on the website and in the price calculator represent the total price in US Dollars (USD), including course fees, accommodation and the agency service provided by Pacific Learn Bridge. Local fees payable directly to the school on site (e.g. SSP, visa extension, electricity/water costs, deposit) are shown separately and are not included in the total price.

The total price payable by the student is to be paid to Pacific Learn Bridge. Pacific Learn Bridge forwards the corresponding course and accommodation fees to the partner school in a timely manner.

Payment terms (deposit, due date of the balance, payment methods) are communicated as part of the individual booking confirmation.

5. Withdrawal, rebooking and cancellation

Withdrawal, rebooking and cancellation are primarily governed by the terms of the respective partner school (refund policy), which are communicated to the student prior to booking. Payments already forwarded to the partner school are subject to that school's cancellation terms.

Consumers within the EU generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for contracts concluded at a distance (online) under the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (FAGG). This right may expire if the service has already been fully performed with the customer's explicit consent before the withdrawal period ends (e.g. once enrolment with the partner school has taken place).

6. Obligations of the student

The student is obliged to provide truthful and complete information, in particular regarding travel documents, visa requirements and health prerequisites. Responsibility for timely procurement of the required travel documents (e.g. a valid passport) and for taking out suitable travel and overseas health insurance lies with the student.

7. Liability

Pacific Learn Bridge is not liable for the delivery of the language course, accommodation, meals or other on-site services, as these fall exclusively within the responsibility of the respective partner school. Pacific Learn Bridge is only liable for its own proper agency and advisory services.

To the extent legally permissible, Pacific Learn Bridge is not liable for slight negligence. Liability for intent and gross negligence remains unaffected.

8. Data protection

Information on the processing of personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy.

9. Applicable law and jurisdiction

Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the student's country of residence remain unaffected.

10. Final provisions

Should individual provisions of these Terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. Pacific Learn Bridge reserves the right to amend these Terms with future effect.
