My name is Bahar Koblbauer, I am 22 years old and come from Linz, Austria.
My journey led me to the Philippines – a place that has deeply shaped me, both personally and professionally. I attended an English school there and quickly realized that learning can be so much more than just lessons in a classroom. The Filipino teachers impressed me with their warmth, patience and positive energy. From the very first day, I felt truly welcomed and developed a deep connection to the local culture and community.
Cultural Exchange
What made this experience even more special was the international environment. Students from all over the world came together in one place with a shared goal: learning English. I had the opportunity to connect with people and cultures from the Philippines, Korea, Japan, China, Vietnam, Arab countries, Turkey, Russia, France, as well as Venezuela and Colombia. This cultural exchange broadened my perspective and enriched me in countless ways.
Travel & Gap Year
Traveling has always been my greatest passion. I love discovering new places, experiencing different cultures, trying new foods and continuously growing beyond my comfort zone. After completing my high school diploma (Matura), I consciously took a gap year and traveled through Europe and Southeast Asia. These experiences shaped me into a more open-minded, independent and confident person.
Mission & Values
Today, I am building my own business because I want to follow a path that truly aligns with my values. Learning, personal growth and intercultural experiences are at the heart of what I do. My goal is to make these life-changing experiences accessible to others. My time in the Philippines showed me how powerful education can be in opening doors and creating new opportunities.
The Heart of the Project
What touched me most were the people. Many Filipinos grow up under very modest conditions, yet they are among the most genuine, joyful and warm-hearted people I have ever met. It is not only the beautiful beaches or luxury resorts that make this country special – it is the people and their spirit.
In the long term, it is important to me to give something back through this project. As my business grows, I would like to support social initiatives and charitable projects, especially those focused on education and equal opportunities. Transparency, honesty and authentic growth are very important to me in this process.
If you are thinking about improving your English, discovering new cultures and growing personally, I would be happy to support and guide you on this journey.
Feel free to reach out for an informal and non-binding inquiry – I look forward to connecting with you.
